hesi.io — Online Arcade Game with Secure Accounts & Payments⌗

Side project, in production

Built and deployed a production browser game with a security-first backend: Argon2id authentication with rotating refresh tokens and reuse detection, CSRF protection and rate limiting, a server-authoritative economy with anti-cheat run validation, signature-verified payment webhooks, and an admin console invisible from the public internet. Dockerized (nginx / PostgreSQL / Redis) with CI and 200+ tests.

Network and System Pentesting Project⌗

Conducted a multi-subnet infrastructure assessment over OpenVPN; engineered exploits for unauthenticated RCE flaws (Elasticsearch / ManageEngine) and bypassed faulty access controls across IPv4/IPv6 architectures to compromise root-level privileges and deliver professional remediation guidelines.

Analysis and Development Project⌗

Contributed to the end-to-end development of a Java-based IT solution, translating complex business needs into a fully functional and documented application. Responsibilities spanned the full project lifecycle: analysis and design, documenting use cases and creating data information models; back-end development in Java with a focus on efficient data structures and querying; and front-end and integration work designing visual dashboards and technical APIs. Executed using a formal methodology, requiring active participation in planning, team retrospectives, and delivering formal technical presentations to stakeholders.

ELK + Burp Suite Stack Monitoring System⌗

A versatile Burp Suite + ELK Stack setup using Filebeat for centralized storage, analysis and anomaly detection of HTTP requests. Enables security research, efficient vulnerability tracking, and fast searching across past test data.

.NET Web Application Project⌗

As part of a group project, mastered the .NET 8 ecosystem by co-developing a “Magic: The Gathering” web application — a card shop built from the ground up. Implemented business logic using C# and LINQ, managed data persistence with Entity Framework, and built a complete server-side UI with Blazor. Key features included dynamic pages with filters and search functionality, user data management with sessions, and adherence to a strict Git workflow.

Web Security Honeypot Project⌗

Designed and deployed a PHP-based web honeypot to capture, log and analyze malicious network traffic. Created decoy web pages and services to log interaction patterns from automated bots and potential attackers. All activity logs were collected for evaluation to identify common attack vectors and vulnerability scanning techniques.
